According to Monday's announcement, MembersCap has used the platform to complete fundraising for its tokenized fund MCM Fund 1. Archax, a regulated digital stock exchange in London, serves as the nominal holder. By using blockchain technology, the London Stock Exchange Group aims to improve the efficiency of the private equity market - an area that is increasingly seen as a mature testing ground for digital transformation. Although the platform is currently only open to private equity funds, the group plans to expand to other asset classes in the future.
