Italy's trade surplus widened year-on-year in July. (1) Italy's trade surplus with the world reached €7.908 billion in July, up from €6.817 billion in the same period of 2024. Exports grew by 7.3% year-on-year, while imports increased by 6.1%. (2) Its trade surplus with EU countries was €1.917 billion, significantly higher than the €716 million in the same period of 2024. Exports to the EU grew by 4.8%, while imports increased by only 0.8%.
