[Goldman Sachs: Russian Oil Production to Decline Only Moderately] ⑴ Goldman Sachs stated in its latest report that despite the continued uncertainty surrounding secondary tariffs on Russian crude oil, it expects Moscow's oil production to decline only modestly. ⑵ Bank of America analysts stated that the greater risk comes from narrowing producer profits and operational bottlenecks caused by existing sanctions. ⑶ Ukrainian drone attacks pose an additional threat, having destroyed approximately 300,000 barrels per day of Russian refining capacity in August and September. If refinery processing capacity declines and storage facilities or export channels reach capacity, upstream producers may be forced to cut production.
