European Natural Gas Prices Stable with Some Declines, Winter Supply Uncertainty: (1) European natural gas prices continued to decline on Tuesday, with wholesale prices in both the Netherlands and the UK fluctuating downward within a narrow range. Specifically, the front-month TTF benchmark contract in the Netherlands fell €0.24 to €31.81 per megawatt-hour, while the front-month UK natural gas price also fell 1.38 pence to 77.80 pence per thermal unit. (2) Supply stability is a key factor in the price decline. Steady supplies from Norway and the continued arrival of liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargoes provide ample resources for the market. Institutional analysts point out that demand support from the power sector is limited, but the combination of stable supply and reduced risk premiums predicts that prices will remain stable. (3) External factors also support price stability. Forecasts indicate that wind power generation will remain strong in the coming week, and temperatures are expected to be above seasonal norms.
