[Bank of America Survey: Pound Sterling Most Overvalued Currency in Nearly a Decade] Bank of America's September Global Fund Manager Survey shows that the British pound is considered the most overvalued currency in nearly a decade. The survey results show that a net 12% of investors currently believe the pound is overvalued, compared to a net 3% who believed it was undervalued a month ago, a significant reversal of valuation expectations. This means that the pound is currently overvalued at its highest level since December 2015. Data from the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) shows that as of this month (the survey period), the pound has risen by approximately 1% against the US dollar, and so far this year, the pound has risen by 9%.
