[The Fed's rate cut is seen as good news for U.S. Treasury bond holders] Harley Bradley of Insight Investment said in a report that a rate cut environment could be good news for investors who invest in U.S. bonds through a globally diversified fixed-income portfolio. The co-head of global interest rates said the Fed is expected to cut interest rates on Wednesday (2:00 a.m. Beijing time Thursday), although tariffs may still lead to higher inflation. He said that given the relatively stubborn inflation in the United States, the market will pay close attention to the Fed's latest "dot plot" forecast for rate cuts after September. "We believe that while inflation may complicate the outcome, we believe the central bank will be prepared to 'ignore' above-target inflation to protect the labor market."
