The Federal Reserve reported that U.S. commercial paper outstanding decreased by $6.1 billion in the week ended September 17, not seasonally adjusted. On a seasonally adjusted basis, the balance of commercial paper outstanding decreased by $18.3 billion in the week ended September 17. The balance of foreign financial commercial paper outstanding decreased by $4.0 billion in the week ended September 17, not seasonally adjusted.
