[Fujian Province's automobile export value increased by more than 50% in the first eight months] According to statistics from Fuzhou Customs, in the first eight months, Fujian Province's automobile exports amounted to 13.53 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 55.9% (the same below). Fujian Province's automobile exports have been exerted in both traditional markets such as the EU and emerging markets such as the Middle East and ASEAN. In the first eight months, Fujian Province exported 1.57 billion yuan of automobiles to the EU, an increase of 119.4%, accounting for 11.6% of Fujian Province's total automobile exports in the same period; exports to the Middle East and ASEAN were 5.21 billion yuan and 1.35 billion yuan respectively, an increase of 94.8% and 25.6% respectively, accounting for a total of 48.4%.
