The Ministry of Natural Resources launched a third-level emergency response to marine disasters at 8:00 on October 4 in accordance with the provisions of the "Marine Disaster Emergency Response Plan", and adjusted the marine disaster emergency response for Guangdong and Hainan to the second level at 17:00. Affected by the typhoon storm surge process, it is expected that on the morning of the 5th, there will be a high risk of seawater backflow in low-lying coastal areas of Maoming City, Guangdong Province and Wenchang City, Hainan Province.
