A research report by CITIC Construction Investment notes that driven by the dual forces of increasing penetration of new energy sources and declining costs for energy storage systems, global demand for energy storage is exploding simultaneously, creating a resonance of domestic and international demand and driving the sector into a new cycle. In terms of investment recommendations, CITIC Construction Investment has raised its forecast for energy storage installed capacity, recommending an investment in leading companies across all sectors. It has also raised its forecast for domestic new installed capacity in 2025-2027 to 150GWh, 260GWh, and 380GWh, respectively, and global new installed capacity to 272GWh, 441GWh, and 642GWh, respectively.
