[Strong cold front will affect Beijing, potentially significantly advancing winter's arrival] ⑴ The Central Meteorological Observatory predicts that a strong cold front will affect my country from north to south from October 16th to 21st, with most areas experiencing their lowest temperatures since the second half of this year. ⑵ The Beijing Meteorological Department stated that under the influence of the strong cold front, temperatures will gradually drop over the next few days, with nighttime temperatures expected to drop into the single digits starting October 17th. ⑶ The lowest temperature on the night of October 19th will be only around 2°C, with temperatures in some mountainous areas falling below freezing. ⑷ Meteorological analysts point out that Beijing is expected to experience seven consecutive days of average temperatures below 10°C from October 18th to 24th.
