Finland's Consumer Confidence Index Further Declines in October: ⑴ Finland's consumer confidence index fell to -7.6 in October, down from -6.6 in September, indicating a continued deterioration in consumer sentiment. ⑵ Finland's overall economic outlook fell to -13.2, down from -13.1 in the previous month; households' perception of their financial situation also fell to -2.4, worse than the previous -0.6. ⑶ The index of households' assessment of their current financial situation fell to 22.9, down from 24.0 in the previous month; the loan willingness index fell to 15.0, down from 16.8 in the previous month. ⑷ The durable goods purchase opportunity index fell to -20.8, worse than the previous -19.7; the consumption intention index fell slightly to 10.3, slightly lower than the previous 10.7. ⑸ The home purchase plan index fell sharply to -16.6, significantly worse than the previous -12.0. (6) The overall unemployment trend expectation index fell to -30.1, worse than the previous value of -27.8; the individual unemployment risk perception index fell to -17.1, significantly worse than the previous value of -12.4.
