[Uber plans to expand its fleet of self-driving taxis supported by NVIDIA technology, with a target of 100,000 vehicles] NVIDIA (NVDA.O) announced a partnership with Uber (UBER.N) on October 28 local time. The partnership will use its new generation of driverless taxis and automatic delivery fleets, the new NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Hyperion 10 autonomous driving development platform, and NVIDIA DRIVE AV software designed for L4 autonomous driving to jointly expand the world's largest L4 autonomous driving mobile network. NVIDIA will help Uber gradually achieve large-scale expansion of its global autonomous driving fleet, with the goal of gradually expanding to 100,000 vehicles starting in 2027. The two parties are also working together to build a data factory accelerated by NVIDIA's Cosmos world-based model development platform to organize and process the data needed for autonomous vehicle development.
