[US Announces New Round of Sanctions Against Russia, Targeting Two Oil Companies] On October 29, local time, the United States announced a new round of sanctions against Russia, focusing on the two major Russian oil giants—Lukoil and Rosneft. These two companies and 34 of their subsidiaries were added to the sanctions list, covering oil and gas exploration, extraction, and development.
