The White House announced that Korean Air will purchase 103 new Boeing aircraft for a total of $36.2 billion, a move that will create up to 135,000 jobs across the United States. To power these new aircraft, Korean Air will also purchase state-of-the-art General Electric aircraft engines in a separate deal worth $13.7 billion.
