[Seven Suspects Arrested in Louvre Robbery, Eight Pieces of Jewelry Still Missing] On October 30th, local time, Paris prosecutor Laure Beccuau stated that five suspects in the Louvre robbery were arrested on the evening of the 29th, including a previously identified prime suspect. The arrests were reportedly conducted simultaneously at multiple locations in Paris and the surrounding area around 9 PM on the 29th. Two suspects had already been arrested on the 25th, and Paris prosecutors stated on the 29th that these two would be formally charged and placed in temporary detention. To date, a total of seven suspects have been arrested in connection with the Louvre robbery. Around 9:30 AM on October 19th, a robbery occurred at the Louvre Museum. Several masked individuals stole nine pieces of "inestimable value" jewelry within minutes, including a Napoleonic-era necklace, brooch, and earrings. The Louvre was immediately evacuated and closed. The suspects abandoned a crown belonging to Empress Eugénie during their escape. The crown has been recovered by police, but the whereabouts of the remaining eight pieces of jewelry remain unknown. At 9:00 AM on the 22nd, three days after the looting, the Louvre reopened to visitors. (CCTV)
