International oil prices rose slightly on October 31. By the close of trading that day, the price of light sweet crude oil futures for December delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange rose 41 cents to settle at $60.98 per barrel, an increase of 0.68%; the price of Brent crude oil futures for December delivery on the London ICE Futures Exchange rose 7 cents to settle at $65.07 per barrel, an increase of 0.11%.
