[Xiaolangdi Reservoir Water Level Reaches 270.2 Meters, Setting a New Historical High for the Same Period] On October 31, the water level of the Xiaolangdi Reservoir, a key reservoir on the Yellow River's main stream, reached 270.20 meters, the highest for the same period in history, laying a solid foundation for drought relief and water supply this winter and next spring. From July to October this year, the total inflow of the Yellow River's main inflow areas was approximately 26.778 billion cubic meters, basically the same as the average for the same period in previous years. However, the inflow in the main inflow areas showed a trend of "less in the upper reaches and more in the lower reaches," with the inflow in the upper reaches of the Yellow River being 21% less than the average for the same period in previous years, and the inflow in the middle reaches being 35% more than the average for the same period in previous years. According to long-term runoff forecasts from hydrological departments, from November 2025 to June 2026, the inflow in the main inflow areas of the Yellow River will still show a trend of less in the Tangnaihai section and more in the middle reaches.
