[Shanxi Electricity Spot Market Clearing Cycle Shortened to 5 Minutes] According to the State Grid Shanxi Electric Power Company, the clearing cycle of the Shanxi electricity spot market has recently been officially adjusted from 15 minutes to 5 minutes, better meeting the real-time balancing requirements of new energy and other emerging power systems. "The adjusted 5-minute clearing cycle can more quickly and accurately reflect instantaneous supply and demand changes in the power grid, providing market participants with clearer price signals," said a relevant personnel from the State Grid Shanxi Electric Power Dispatching Center.
