OPEC+ representatives said that OPEC+ members will approve a plan for a small production increase in December at an online meeting later Sunday. Key members, led by Saudi Arabia, are expected to formally approve a decision to restore approximately 137,000 barrels per day of suspended production at the meeting, which begins at 5 p.m. Vienna time. This increase is consistent with the previously announced small production increases in October and November. OPEC and its partners are slowly restoring 1.65 million barrels per day of production that was suspended two years ago, and the alliance also quickly restarted another batch of capacity earlier this year.
