Recently, the Canadian transportation authorities announced that Toyota Motor Corporation is recalling 99,178 vehicles in Canada, including more than 30 models such as Lexus, due to a software issue that may cause the rearview camera to malfunction in certain situations. This recall only affects some vehicles equipped with a surround-view camera system. Dealers will provide free software updates for customers with recalled vehicles, and Toyota will notify affected customers by the end of December this year.
