According to statistics from Shanghai Customs, over the past eight years since its inception, the China International Import Expo (CIIE) has seen more than 4,100 batches of exhibits imported, with a total value exceeding 8 billion yuan. From 2018 to 2024, across seven CIIEs, Shanghai Customs has overseen the import of 3,890 batches of exhibits, valued at approximately 7.97 billion yuan. With the 8th CIIE about to open, as of October 31, Shanghai Customs had facilitated the customs clearance of 289 batches of exhibits, valued at approximately 176 million yuan, with most of the exhibits already on display.
