On November 3, local time, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that Hamas has demonstrated a strong willingness to implement the Gaza Strip ceasefire agreement, while Israel's "record" in implementing the agreement is "very poor." Erdoğan emphasized that Turkey firmly opposes any attempt to annex the West Bank, change the status quo in Jerusalem, or undermine the sanctity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Erdoğan stated that since the first phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement took effect, Israel has killed more than 200 innocent civilians in the Gaza Strip and continues its occupation and military operations in the West Bank.
