On Wednesday (November 5), yields on medium- and long-term German bonds rose by about 2 basis points in late European trading. The yield on 10-year German government bonds rose 1.9 basis points to 2.673%, trading in the range of 2.637%-2.678% during the day; the yield on 2-year German bonds rose 0.7 basis points to 2.004%, trading in the range of 1.984%-2.010% during the day; the yield on 30-year German bonds rose 2.3 basis points to 3.259%; and the spread between 2-year and 10-year German bond yields rose 1.164 basis points to +66.673 basis points.
