[Iranian Parliament Formally Accepts Strategic Plan for the Strait of Hormuz, Involving Security and Tolls] ⑴ Iranian National Security Council member Rezaei stated that the "Strategic Action Plan for Security and Sustainable Development of the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf" was accepted by parliament last night. ⑵ The plan had previously been reviewed and approved by the National Security Council and has now been submitted to the plenary session of parliament. ⑶ Core contents include security, navigation, toll collection, environmental issues, and the implementation of Iran's sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz. ⑷ The plan will be formally promulgated after being approved by the plenary session and the Guardian Council.
