"We haven't favored any part of the mandate you've given us," Warsh told members of the House Financial Services Committee. "Price stability and full employment are not mutually exclusive. I am committed to achieving both." When asked later whether he agreed on targeted measures to address the unemployment and job opportunity disparities between Black and white Americans, Warsh said, "America cannot afford to leave anyone behind.
