The meeting discussed the issue of continuing to promote the return of all prisoners and the current situation of prisoner exchange. Zelensky said that since the full-scale outbreak of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict in February 2022, Ukraine has successfully released 5,857 prisoners of war through the prisoner exchange mechanism, and another 555 people have been released through non-exchange channels. Under the framework of the Istanbul Agreement, more than 1,000 Ukrainian soldiers have returned to Ukraine.
