[Trump: Global tariffs will be around 15-20%] U.S. President Trump said that the United States is expected to impose tariffs of 15% to 20% on countries that have not reached a trade agreement with Washington. "I think it will be between 15% and 20%," Trump told reporters after meeting with British Prime Minister Starmer at his golf resort in Turnbury, Scotland. "It may be one of these two numbers." Trump said the United States will soon send letters to about 200 countries to notify them of the expected tariff rates on U.S. exports. Trump imposed an additional tariff of 10% on most countries from April, and tariff rates for many other countries will be increased from August 1.
