She said the ECB could wait until December to cut interest rates, or keep interest rates unchanged throughout 2025. Galbraith said the trade deal could slightly push up Aberdeen's forecasts for eurozone growth and inflation. Before the United States and the European Union reached a trade agreement, Aberdeen predicted that the ECB would finally cut interest rates in December. "The balance of risks may be tilted towards the final rate cut not happening at all," Galbraith said.
