[Aberdeen Investments: US-EU trade agreement increases the risk that the ECB will abandon further rate cuts] Liz Galbraith of Aberdeen Investments said in a report that the trade agreement between the United States and the European Union increases the risk that the European Central Bank will abandon further rate cuts. She said the ECB may wait until December or keep interest rates unchanged until the whole of 2025. Galbraith said the trade agreement may slightly increase Aberdeen's forecasts for eurozone economic growth and inflation. Before the US-EU trade agreement was reached, Aberdeen had predicted that the ECB would cut interest rates for the last time in December.
