[White House: EU promises not to impose tariffs on electronic transmission] The fact sheet released by the White House on social platform X on Monday shows that as part of the trade agreement reached with the United States, the EU confirmed that it "will not introduce or retain network usage fees." The fact sheet reads: "In addition, the United States and the European Union will maintain zero tariffs on electronic transmission." According to the document, the EU will also "purchase $750 billion in U.S. energy and invest an additional $600 billion in the United States" by 2028.
