According to a document released by the Russian Legal Information Network on the 28th, Russian Prime Minister Mishustin recently signed an order to officially close the 20 border crossings previously established in accordance with the bilateral agreement between Russia and Ukraine from August 1 this year, including 13 road crossings and 7 railway crossings. Some of the crossings are located in the border areas with Luhansk, Donetsk and other places. In October 2022, Russian President Putin approved the treaties for Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhia and Kherson to join the Russian Federation as federal subjects and signed relevant legal documents to accept the above four places into Russia.
