On July 28, local time, the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement saying that the meeting of Ukrainian ambassadors abroad decided to suspend the implementation of the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe on the same day. The statement emphasized that suspending the implementation of the Ottawa Mine Ban Convention after suspending the implementation of the treaty is the next step for Ukraine to strengthen its national defense.
