[The 2025 World Artificial Intelligence Conference closed, and 31 projects were signed with an investment of more than 15 billion yuan] The closing ceremony of the World Artificial Intelligence Conference and the High-level Conference on Global Governance of Artificial Intelligence was held in Shanghai yesterday (28th). A number of major projects were signed at the closing ceremony, covering fields such as intelligent driving, embodied intelligence and robotics. A total of 31 projects were signed with an investment of more than 15 billion yuan. Chen Jie, member of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and Deputy Mayor, said that this year's conference received 156 purchasing groups from more than 10 countries including the mainland, the United Kingdom, Spain and Jordan. The exhibition area exceeded 70,000 square meters for the first time, an increase of 40% over the previous session, attracting more than 800 companies to participate in the exhibition, of which 50% were innovative companies. More than 3,000 cutting-edge scientific and technological achievements were displayed, including more than 100 global and China-first products. The total number of products and debuts have doubled compared to the previous session.
