[The largest mountain torrent in 70 years has caused a total of more than 10,000 people to be relocated in Jizhou, Tianjin] At around 12:00 on July 27, rainfall began to appear in Jizhou District, Tianjin. As of the afternoon of July 28, the average rainfall in Jizhou District reached 92.7 mm, and the maximum rainfall reached 252.6 mm, which occurred in Changzhou Village, Xiaying Town. The largest mountain torrent in the past 70 years of hydrological records broke out locally, causing 13 villages along the Beihe River to be flooded. As of 23:00 on July 28, a total of 10,527 people had been relocated in Jizhou District, Tianjin, and 7 centralized resettlement sites had been opened. 14 mountain torrent channels in Jizhou District, Tianjin produced runoff, 1 sunken tunnel was closed, 8 power lines were cut off due to dangerous conditions, 29 communication facilities were damaged, and some county-level roads were cut off.
