Hunan's imports and exports to the EU increased by nearly 30% in June, with Germany becoming its largest trading partner. According to Changsha Customs, Hunan's imports and exports to the EU reached 4.61 billion yuan in June, a year-on-year increase of 28.3%. Of this total, exports amounted to 3.38 billion yuan, a 30.6% increase, while imports reached 1.23 billion yuan, a 22.5% increase. Hunan's imports and exports to Germany reached 1.26 billion yuan in June, a 35.1% increase, the largest increase among EU member states and directly driving the province's counter-cyclical growth in imports and exports to the EU.
