The government's "Capacity Investment Plan" will provide project builders with a minimum electricity price guarantee, which will help add 3 billion watts of renewable energy generation capacity - enough to meet the electricity needs of 10 million households. Australian Energy Minister Chris Bowen will announce the news later on Tuesday.
