[Apple closes its first direct-sale store in China] On July 29, Apple announced that an official direct-sale store in China will be closed. Apple China's official website shows that the Dalian Centennial City Apple Store will cease operations at 20:00 on August 9, 2025. It is the first direct-sale store in China to be closed. Apple has not yet stated the reason for the closure. The store opened on October 24, 2015 and is the first official Apple direct-sale store in Dalian and the second in Liaoning Province.
