PetroChina Launches Ultra-Low-Sulfur Heavy Fuel Marine Fuel Supply: According to PetroChina, on July 24th, PetroChina Fuel Oil Company (PetroChina) bunkered 875 tons of ultra-low-sulfur heavy fuel marine fuel (ULHF) produced by North China Petrochemical Company (Huabei Petrochemical Company) aboard the vessel COSCO PRIDE at Shanghai Yangshan Port. This marks the completion of a complete supply chain for PetroChina, making it the sole supplier of ULHF fuel marine fuel to major ports in Asia-Pacific. This product, which reduces sulfur emissions by 80% compared to traditional low-sulfur fuel, will be increasingly marketed in ports such as Ningbo, Tianjin, and Shenzhen.
