[UBS: International investors have increased confidence in the Chinese market] Fang Dongming, head of UBS Global Financial Markets in China, said that since the positive changes in China's macroeconomic policies in September last year, global investors have become increasingly interested in Chinese assets, including the A-share and Hong Kong stock markets. He pointed out that Hong Kong stocks are more attractive than US dollar assets, and investors can benefit from the improvement in the fundamentals and valuation recovery of Chinese companies. The Hong Kong dollar exchange rate is pegged to the US dollar, which has further boosted demand for Hong Kong stocks. Fang Dongming believes that with the market depth and valuation advantages, A-shares are expected to catch up with Hong Kong stocks. "We have always emphasized that the situation where Chinese assets are generally underweight by international investors will not continue."
