[Sweden's GDP in the second quarter increased slightly by 0.1% month-on-month] ⑴Preliminary data from the Swedish Statistics Bureau showed that Sweden's gross domestic product (GDP) in the second quarter of 2025 increased by 0.1% month-on-month, and the revised value for the first quarter was a month-on-month contraction of 0.2%. ⑵Mattias Kain Wyatt, an economist at the Swedish Statistics Bureau, said that although economic activity declined in May, the improvement in the situation in June promoted a slight increase in the quarter as a whole. ⑶In terms of year-on-year data, GDP in the second quarter increased by 0.9% year-on-year, the same growth rate as the previous quarter.
