[China Medical System's share price surged 3.7% as its application for a new drug for Alzheimer's disease was accepted] 1. China Medical System (0867.HK) rose 3.7% during trading on Tuesday. The company announced that its application for marketing approval in China for ZUNVEYL, a modified new drug for the treatment of mild to moderate Alzheimer's dementia, has been officially accepted by the National Medical Products Administration. 2. Since the beginning of this year, China Medical System's share price has soared 81.7%, significantly outperforming the Hang Seng Index's 26.3% increase during the same period. 3.
