The Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Statistics and the Nanjing Survey Team of the National Bureau of Statistics released data on Nanjing's economic performance in the first half of 2025. According to the unified GDP accounting results, the city's GDP in the first half of the year reached 917.918 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.3% at constant prices. By industry, the added value of the primary industry was 10.620 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.5%; the added value of the secondary industry was 285.173 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.1%; and the added value of the tertiary industry was 622.125 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.8%.
