Guangzhou's GDP grew 3.8% year-on-year in the first half of 2025. (1) Data from the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Statistics show that the city's GDP reached 1,508.099 billion yuan in the first half of 2025, a year-on-year increase of 3.8% at constant prices. (2) By industry, the added value of the primary industry was 11.234 billion yuan, a 4.2% increase; the added value of the secondary industry was 370.587 billion yuan, a 2.1% increase; and the added value of the tertiary industry was 1,126.278 billion yuan, a 4.3% increase.
