Eurozone inflation expectations have fallen for two consecutive months. ⑴ Eurozone median consumer inflation expectations for June 2025 fell to 2.6%, a four-month low and further down from 2.8% in May. Three-year inflation expectations remained at 2.4%, while five-year expectations remained unchanged at 2.1% for seven consecutive months. ⑵ Younger respondents' inflation perceptions and expectations remained lower than those of older respondents, but the gap was narrower than in previous years. While nominal income growth expectations for the next 12 months remained unchanged at 1%, nominal spending growth expectations fell from 3.5% to 3.2%. ⑶ Economic growth expectations improved to -1% (previous value: -1.1%), and unemployment expectations for the next 12 months fell slightly to 10.3% (previous value: 10.4%).
