Bulgaria's June Tourist Arrivals Declined 3.1% Year-on-Year: (1) In June 2025, the number of Bulgarian tourists decreased by 3.1% year-on-year to 1.427 million, a significant decline from the 0.5% growth in May. Business travel (-9.3%) and leisure tourism (-4.8%) decreased, while travel for other purposes (0.5%) increased. (2) EU tourists accounted for 56.6% of total arrivals, primarily from Romania (30%), Germany (16.9%), Greece (13%), and Poland (11.7%). Visitors from other European countries accounted for 38.1%, with Turkey accounting for 44%.
