[The Main Coking Coal Futures Contract Plummeted 6.63%, with the Top 20 Contract Holders Maintaining a Net Short Position] ⑴ At the close of trading on July 29th, the main coking coal futures contract 2509 plummeted 6.63%, with a trading volume of 1.5909 million lots. Position data showed that the top 20 contract holders held a net short position of 42,861 lots. ⑵ Across all contracts, total coking coal futures trading volume was 2.9621 million lots, a decrease of 1.9455 million lots from the previous trading day. ⑶ The top 20 contract holders held a long position of 393,400 lots, a slight increase of 778 lots from the previous day; short positions reached 482,300 lots, an increase of 248 lots from the previous day. ⑷ Market position structure shows that both long and short positions increased slightly, and the net short gap remained stable.
