Ferrosilicon Futures Main Contract Closes Up 3.52%, Top 20 Contract Holders Net Short Position 26,600 Contracts] ⑴ At the close of July 29th, the main ferrosilicon futures contract 2509 rose 3.52%, with a trading volume of 726,700 contracts. Position data shows that the top 20 contract holders held a net short position of 26,610 contracts. ⑵ Across all contracts, 989,600 contracts of ferrosilicon futures were traded, a decrease of 631,600 contracts from the previous trading day. ⑶ The top 20 contract holders held 307,500 long positions, an increase of 20,500 contracts from the previous day; short positions reached 346,000 contracts, an increase of 13,100 contracts from the previous day. ⑷ The market position structure shows that long positions increased more than short positions, and the net short spread narrowed month-on-month.
