[JD.com leads investment in robotics company RoboScience and is expected to release a complete strategy at the Robotics Conference] On July 30, RoboScience announced the completion of an angel round of financing of nearly 200 million yuan, led by JD.com, followed by China Merchants Venture Capital and SenseTime Guoxiang Capital, and continued investment from old shareholder Zero One Ventures. Mushi Capital served as the exclusive financial advisor for this round. RoboScience was registered and established at the end of December 2024 and officially started operations in March of this year. Before this round of financing, it had completed a seed round of financing of tens of millions of yuan. Its robot hardware and software integrated intelligent modules and complete machine systems are widely used in industry, logistics, consumer retail, home and other fields. Recently, JD.com has made frequent investments in the field of embodied intelligence. From May to now, it has invested in embodied intelligence companies such as Zhiyuan Robot, Qianxun Intelligence, Zhuji Power and Zhongqing Robot. At the upcoming 2025 World Robot Conference (WRC), JD.com will also showcase its latest progress, business layout and ecological construction in the field of embodied intelligence.
