The main low-sulfur fuel oil futures contract rose 2.49%, while positions remained net short. (1) At the close of trading on July 30, the main low-sulfur fuel oil futures contract 2510 rose 2.49%, closing at 116,400 lots. Position data showed that the top 20 futures traders held a net short position of 8,065 lots. (2) Total trading volume for all contracts was 169,100 lots, down 6,559 lots from the previous day. The top 20 futures traders held a long position of 55,500 lots (down 6,130 lots), and a short position of 58,900 lots (down 4,114 lots).
